Helping animals is not merely a job to Dr. Woon, an Aussie veterinarian of Malaysian-Chinese descent; it is her calling and greatest passion in life.
One of her most heartfelt endeavors is making in-home euthanasia a peaceful and positive experience for both her pet patients and pet parents. She doesn't want any pets to suffer when she can provide a compassionate and loving goodbye.
Her affinity to this specialized work, and her over 15 years of experience in the veterinary industry, led her to creating Angel Wing Vets Los Angeles upon moving to the City of Angels.
Dr. Woon was born in Australia where she grew up in Canberra and graduated from the University of Sydney, ranked as the top veterinary college in the country.

I don't think I have enough words that I could say to express how amazing Doctor Woon was. Today I had to euthanize my 3 year old hedgehog who was in active heart failure. They took me right away and even stayed into their lunch break so that my little Shelly wouldn't have to suffer longer. Doctor Woon was reassuring, knowledeable, and professional. You can see how much she cares for her patients, animals and people. She let us come to the back and stay with our girl through the whole procedure.
